Peace of Mind Nannies is a nanny placement and babysitting agency that specializes in care of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. While this is our specialty, the experience and training our team possess make them highly qualified to work with all children as a nanny. Peace of Mind Nannies strives to meet your childcare needs through a variety of short and long-term nannying services.
To support your needs during this time, our team of nannies are former teachers, daycare and early intervention staff, as well as PASS and Respite workers.
We support all Rhode Island communities from Newport to Narragansett and East Greenwich to Barrington. We service high-net-worth clients to provide a customized, luxury nanny service for your family.
COVID-19 update
At Peace of Mind Nannies, we are taking COVID-19 very seriously and recognize that everyone needs an extra level of security when inviting someone new into their home environment or when going to work in someone else’s home. Due to COVID, we aren’t offering any night out or event babysitting services. Review our COVID-19 safety measures effective May 1, 2020 that Peace of Mind Nannies staff and families must adhere to when accessing long-term or short-term childcare services.
What makes us unique?
Unlike other babysitting agencies, our nannies are required to pass a national criminal background check, including a national sex offender check, driving record check and verification of education credentials prior to working for our agency. Nannies will also participate in bi-annual professional development workshops focused on child development and intellectual and developmental disabilities topics. Consistent performance reviews will be done by families on nannies ensuring that Peace of Mind Nannies achieves high quality childcare for your little ones.

Rates
Fees due to Peace of Mind Nannies include:
Membership Fee
Annual membership fee - $200
Provides access to babysitting services
Placement Fee

Families will be responsible for directly paying the nanny an hourly rate of up to $25 per hour. Rate is dependent upon a number of factors including, the number of children, age(s) of children, the nanny’s years of experience and their training/ experience. Peace of Mind Nannies will offer guidance on an hourly rate.
